Decide to Win! Nocturnist Diary

Who doesn’t want to be a winner? Who doesn’t want to accomplish great things? Ordinary people can do extraordinary things by doing simple actions. In that vane, I recently wrote a blog post encouraging you to Punch Fear in the Face. Now, I would like to talk to you about doing one simple action that will fuel your greatness and success – decide to win!

Take Home Points

  1. Embrace failure as a lesson for use in the future. Every lesson makes us stronger and more equipped to succeed. Failure is not the end, it is the beginning of your comeback story.
  2. Mindset is key. Look yourself in the mirror and tell yourself that you will be great! You will succeed! You are an overcomer! Mantras and meditations done daily arm our minds for future mental warfare and the insurgence of negative thought. To be mentally strong, we have to work on that “muscle” everyday so that its flexion when needed is automatic.
  3. Decide to face fear. When faced with fear, ask the question, “Am I in physical danger?” If the answer is no, then you are being confronted with something that will force outside of your comfort zone. The fear that you feel is the signal that this path is the one that will allow you to grow tremendously. Facing fear is the fast track to strength and growth!

Winners are people who are consistent. Winners are people who are constantly changing and growing. Winners are people who are not afraid to fail. You are a winner! Decide to win!

Be strong. Be brave. Unleash your greatness!
