Night Shift Mom Set Yourself Up to Win
Night shift mom life can be challenging. We need to set ourselves up for the win. There are many advantages like being able to work while your cherubs sleep and being able to function like a SAHM while still having a job. Life does get very busy and often we forget to take time to care for ourselves. In order to be our best, we need to carve out our 2% and make time for self-care.
Make a Plan to Win
So how do you win? It boils down to making a plan. In my blog about claiming your 2%, one of the tips to carving out time is making a schedule for your self-care time. So have you scheduled your 30 minutes for your self-care?
Your plan to win, strong momma is going to start with putting a fortress around those 30 minutes. Now it time to make a plan for that self-care time. If you choose to meditate during your self-care time, then plan out which days this week you are going to make it happen. Here are a few free apps that you can use: calm, the mindfulness training app, and headspace.
Starting with meditation and setting an intention for each 30-minute self-care session will be rejuvenating and you will win!
