Working Mom Life Tips #3: Throw Away Your Mom Guilt

Working Mom Life Tips – Throw Away Your Mom Guilt

Have you ever felt it? You know that feeling that you get when you see those perfect Pinterest posts of the birthday cake that “perfect” mom made. You look down at the Pinterest fail you are about to present to your cherub and that feeling comes over you. What about when you are away for a time and your cherubs are with the sitter or caregiver and prefers to go to them instead of you? Ah! That deep suck feeling is mom guilt.

Here is why you should throw it away immediately. No mom is perfect. The sooner you recognize that the better. We may be fallible but in the eyes of our cherubs we are perfect. So when you realize that the cake you made is leaning to the side a bit or that the fort you helped them build is on the verge of collapse, they still love you. They love YOU. They love your hugs, your kisses, YOU.

We make things way more complicated that they should be. Experiences with you are way more valuable that a perfect Pinterest worthy bento boxed lunch for school. That little sandwich and piece of fruit put together with love means more to your cherubs.

So, strong momma, hold your head up, dust those shoulders off and go give your cherubs a big hug and kiss! Throw that guilt away, it has no place in your happy space!

Be Strong. Be brave. Unleash your greatness!
